Q |
Hey Matt, Glad to
see you have some luck on your side at
Darlington. During the race, I heard that you,
Jamie, and Greg all felt some vibration in your
cars. Was it a part used in the car, or did you
all have loose wheels?
Brenda Dotson, Manchester,
Tenn. |
Past Q&A

 |
|
A |
I’m not exactly sure,
to be honest. We’ve all had loose wheels or felt
like we’ve had loose wheels the last few races.
We are looking into our parts and pieces to make
sure we don’t have bad lug nuts, wheel studs, or
something with the wheels themselves that’s
making them come loose.

Q |
What do you do with
the wrecked car pieces and your old helmets and
racing jumpsuits?
Liz Masching, Fayetteville,
Ark. |
|
A |
Roush owns the cars,
so the wrecked pieces usually get sold in the
gift shop in Concord, N.C., or given to various
charities. I have most of the firesuits,
helmets, and various other racing stuff I have
collected through the years at our
Fan Club
Headquarters in Cambridge, Wis.

Do you have a sponsor for your sunglasses?

Yes, Wiley X is my
sunglass sponsor. They make some cool stuff. We

Q |
During a recent TV
interview, you said the movie “Fletch” was your
favorite comedy (which is also one of my
all-time faves). Of the characters that Fletch
plays, which one do you think is the funniest
and why?
M.E. Farmer, Lexington, S.C. |
|
A |
Man, they were all
pretty funny. My favorites are probably the
cleaning lady in the beginning, and the beach
bum, he has some good one liners.
