Q |
What model Citizen Eco-Drive watch do you wear?
I’m curious as at multiple sites it shows you
with different watches. Thanks!

A |
I wear the
titanium Promaster SST and love it! I wear that
watch almost every day and it’s my favorite.

I just wanted to ask you what plans you had for
your birthday? You see we have two things in
common: same birthday and being avid Packer
fans. I hope you have a great birthday, from a
Wisconsin fan living in Florida.

Happy birthday to you! Katie took me out to eat
in Charlotte with a few friends. We had a great
time.

Q |
First I would like to say happy birthday. What
time do you and the rest of the drivers get to
the track on Sunday morning, or do you stay in
your motor home?
Tommy Davis,

|
A |
I think if not every driver, almost every driver
stays in a motor home at the racetrack. I know
it really helps me relax and be rested up for
the race.

Q |
Hey Matt, I am doing a school project on you and
I wanted to know what was the first car you
owned? What make? What model? And what year?
Thank you so much!

A |
My very first car was a 1982 four-door Honda
Accord. It was my sister’s car that she had
pretty much run into ground. I had to work on it
for some time to get it ready for the road.

Q |
At Atlanta on lap 204, Drew radioed you and
asked if you still had a hold of the splitter.
You answered, “Yes.” I am sorry but I don’t know
what you guys were talking about. Could you
explain?
To Drew and Mike: you guys are so positive and
that is so awesome to hear. I love it when
things are bleak and you radio in and say,
“We’ll help ya Matt, good job.” Matt, how much
do these guys keep you motivated and focused?
Mark Esau, Davenport, Iowa |

A |
He
was asking if the splitter was still hitting the
racetrack. With the bump stops in the front, if
you miss the gaps or heights a little, the front
splitter will drag and keep the car from turning
the way you would like. Drew and Mike both keep
me motivated on the track as well as giving me
lots of useful information.
