Q |
What’s it feel like to be trusted to run one of
the first new Ford engines at Talladega? And can
you compare the new to the old engine? More
power?

2009 Q&A

. . . . . . . .

 |
|
A |
I’m not sure they are trusting me, I’m trusting
them! I’m happy to run the new engine; we have to get some miles on the stuff
before next year to work out any possible problems that could creep up. I don’t
know how it compares really until I get a chance to drive it Friday. I don’t
have a lap on it yet. The goal is to make more power without sacrificing
reliability.

Q |
Hey Matt, I am kinda worried about how the new
Crown Royal car will look. Have you seen the
design yet?
Scott Pfeil,
Lone Rock, Wis. |
|
A |
Yeah it looks great. I did the photo shoot a few
weeks ago. I imagine it’s on the internet
somewhere by now. No photos
yet, but you can preorder your 2010 Crown Royal
diecast in
autographed or
regular versions from MattKensethStore.com.

I hope so. We are currently looking for a
sponsor.

Q |
Hi Matt, I like your Ford Fusion, but I’d like
to know what do you drive off the track?
Jared Suderman, Mountain Lake,
Minn. |
|
A |
I drive a 2009 Lincoln MKS and love it.

Q |
Hey Matt, what did it feel like leading the
first time in a Cup or Busch Series race? Did
your pulse rate increase or were you already too
used to leading? Good luck, I hope you win at
Dega man!
Richie Shatterton, Atlanta, Ga. |
|
A |
That was a long time ago, but the better you do
the better it feels. Winning in Cup is the
ultimate feeling.
