During the Phoenix race the announcers mentioned
that some drivers names for their cars. Do you
have any names for your race cars? Thanks and
good luck for the rest of the season!

No I don’t. I have been at Roush a long time and have gone
through a lot of cars! I would be out of names by now!

I attended the race in Phoenix and noticed that
you ran a different line than most of the other
drivers. What goes into determining which line
you drive?

Good question. It’s mainly how your car is
handling and where you feel like, and your
laptimes show, you are the fastest. You spend
some time in the race searching around for what
feels good and runs fast. I hope you had a great
time at the race!

In your opinion is there any alternative to
the front splitter? I keep seeing how it cuts up
tires. It seems to me some unnamed drivers use
it as a tool. Thanks and have a good clean FUN
racing season.
Dale Davison,

mmmm, maybe I should get some tips so I can
learn how to do that! I don’t think with this
particular body style there is a good
alternative for the splitter. It doesn’t seem to
be a big problem, although I have seen it cut a
tire or two.

Matt, do all the Sprint Cup cars have the same
body and the only difference is the emblem in
front?
Larry Heyer,
Manchester, Iowa |
 |
The templates are the same on all makes. Really
the only difference is the nose and character
lines on the hood, and then decals.

Do you own a cheesehead?
Leesa Hill, Louisville, Ky. |
 |
I do not own a cheesehead, but I have worn one a
time or two!
