Once
you’ve registered, it’s time to wander around
and meet fellow Fan Club members.
If you
were looking for merchandise or that “hard to find”
collectible,
plenty were to be found.
Matt mingles
and talks with fans
before the autograph session begins.
How

Congratulations

The
autograph line starts here...
(keep in mind where this sign is)
and loops
around inside the ballroom...
then
goes out the door and starts down the hallway...
and
continues down the hall!!!
At any
given time from 5:30pm, when Matt started
signing autographs, until 9:00 pm, the autograph line had
250 to 300 people patiently waiting to get an autograph!!!
If you were
looking for a bite to eat,
there was
plenty of food.
Matt
signs a shirt for one of his fans,
and a hat
for another.
With
his niece, Amber, in charge of the markers,
Matt
continues to autograph.
Diecasts
were one of the more popular items to be signed.
Smiling and
joking with everyone,
Matt
continues to sign.
Matt signed
for everyone. The young,
and
the “not as young.”
This is the
look of a man who has been
autographing items for upwards of 3½
hours.
But
just a few more items ... hmmm, is this why we
weren’t as aerodynamic as we hoped at Daytona?
We were missing our right rear quarter panel!!!
Or maybe our
hood and front bumper.
Working
hard behind the merchandise counter.
Making sure
every gets what they're looking for.
Roy looks
around wondering if he has enough for
everyone while Nicki takes a much
deserved break.
