Matt got an exciting win at
California Speedway after a late-race yellow flag led to a
green/white/checker finish at Fontana. Matt led 40 laps en route to
Victory Lane, finishing off a dominant weekend for Roush Racing at
the track. The victory was Matt’s 11th in NASCAR’s premiere series,
and the first points victory for the brand new Ford Fusion. Kenseth started 31st but
quickly moved up through the field, aided as always by quick pit
stops from the Killer Bees. No other California winner
has come from so deep in the field.
