born July 6, 2009, in North Carolina.
Big brother Ross was there to lend a hand.
Katie’s sister, Julie, was part of her labor and delivery team.

Matt and
Katie didn’t want to find out whether they were having a boy or a
girl ahead of time, so they hired a decorator who consulted with the
doctors to furnish an appropriate nursery behind a locked door. When
Kaylin came home from the hospital, Katie and Matt were given the
keys to this room.
