Chad Johnston, crew chief, No. 42 McDonald's McDelivery Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE "A rough night for us after I felt like we had been making some steps in the right direction over the last few races. We started the race with the balance a little off, and struggled all night to get the car handling better. We made a lot of changes throughout the race, but couldn’t get the loose handling out of the car. The guys did a good job getting the car patched-up after the incident, and we tried some pit strategy late in the race to get up front, but unfortunately we didn’t have the race we wanted. We’ll take advantage of a little break from the racing action this weekend and get ready to be better at Loudon next weekend.”
The NASCAR Cup Series will go to New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday Aug. 2 for the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301. NBCSN, the Performance Racing Network and Sirius/XM NASCAR Channel 90 will have coverage beginning at 3 p.m. ET.
