Chad Johnston, Crew Chief, No. 42 McDonald’s McDelivery Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE “The day started-off pretty positive with a really strong qualifying effort from Matt, but unfortunately we didn’t catch many breaks during the race. The car was handling loose to start, and we chased the balance the rest of the night. The speeding penalty midway through Stage two put us a couple laps down and we were working to get back on the lead lap. Then Matt had an issue that resulted in a good bit of damage to the right rear. From there, we did our best to just maintain and get the most out of the race that we could. Not how we hoped our race would go, but we’ll take what we learned today and put it into the race back here in Charlotte on Wednesday.”
